PASTORAL AG Levamisole Oral Drench contains levamisole hydrochloride, a member of the imidazothiazole (clear) drench group. It is effective in cattle and sheep against levamisole-susceptible strains of the following species: mature and immature Barber's pole worm (Haemonchus spp.), Black scour worm (Trichostrongylus spp.), Stomach hair worm (Trichostrongylus axei), Small intestinal worm (Cooperia spp.), Thin necked intestinal worm (Nematodirus spp.), Hookworm (Bunostomum spp.), Strongyloides, Large bowel worms (Oesophagostomum spp.), Large lungworm (Dictyocaulus spp.) and Small brown stomach worm (Ostertagia spp.) in sheep, and mature (adult only) Ostertagia spp. in cattle under 12 months of age. When Ostertagia are the problem in cattle over 12 months of age, PASTORAL AG Ivermectin Pour-On for Cattle is the recommended product. In sheep, PASTORAL AG Levamisole Oral Drench is also effective against benzimidazole resistant and susceptible Barber's Pole Worm (Haemonchus contortus) and Black Scour Worm (Trichostrongylus spp.), providing they are sensitive to levamisole. Resistance may develop to any chemical. Net Contents: 20 L Directions for Use: Restraints: Contraindications: This product is contraindicated for use in dogs and horses. RLP APPROVED Precautions: Exercise care in handling weak, pregnant and young animals to avoid unnecessary stress.
