Anwendungsgebiete:

The intended use of the mask is to supply oxygen from an oxygen supply to the lungs. They are used for infants, children and adults. The Venturi mask consists of an aerosol mask with added piece of aerosol tubing to the adapter. Into the end of this tubing an air entrainment valve is inserted and then an oxygen supply tube is connected. There are different air entrainment valves. Each one has a different internal bore size: the smaller the bore, the less oxygen that is added to the entrainment stream. This results in a lower percentage of oxygen inside the mask. The air entrainment ratios are fixed for each adapter size. The different adapter sizes are colour coded for easy recognition.
