Claims:
Controlled Release Capsule for Bloat Control, Production Improvement
and Treatment and
Prevention of Sub-Clinical Ketosis in Beef and Dairy Cattle.
As an aid in reducing bloat in pasture fed cattle.
For increased weight gain in beef cattle depending on the nutritional
status of the pasture.
For increased milk production in dairy cows.
For treatment and prevention of sub-clinical ketosis in beef and dairy
cattle.

Contraindications:
This product is contra-indicated for use in cattle of less than 200kg
live weight.
Dogs and horses must not be allowed access to the capsule since
ingestion of the
Rumensin core may be fatal in these species.
Precautions:
Hold the treated cattle in the yards for at least one hour after
administration of the capsule
to observe failure to swallow (spit up). If spit up is observed
identify the animal by matching
the animal identification number with the number embossed on the
capsule (each capsule
has an individual embossed number for identification purposes) and
redose with an
undamaged capsule. In case of spit ups during the bloat season, match
capsule number
with animal identification number, remove the animal from the pasture
and redose with an
undamaged capsule. Retreated animals may be re-introduced to the
bloat-causing pasture
one week after treatment. RLP APPROVED
Recheck all cattle 3-4 days after dosing for capsule lodgement. Signs
of lodgement are:
coughing, drooling, off-feed and ill-thrift. If lodgement is suspected
contact your local
veterinarian immediately. Small heifers dosed with the capsule may
initially develop
scouring.
