WHAT COPASTIN TABLET IS USED FOR
COPASTIN TABLET is used in the treatment
of unproductive cough (dry cough).
HOW COPASTIN TABLET WORKS
COPASTIN
TABLET
is
a
non-narcotic
antitussive
agent
which
suppresses
unproductive cough. It works by suppressing
the cough reflex by direct effect on the cough
centre in the brain. It exhibits the combination
of
a
strong
central
antitussive
effect,
papaverine-like action (for treatment of heart
and
brain
spasm)
and
mild
antihistaminic
action.
BEFORE YOU USE COPASTIN TABLET
_When you must not take it _
You must not take COPASTIN Tablet if you
are allergic to Cloperastine Hydrochloride.
_Before you start to take it _
Consult your doctor and pharmacist regarding
the consumption of COPASTIN TABLET if
you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your
doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any
other medicines or you have any other health
related problems.
_Taking other medicines _
No harmful effect reported on the concurrent
use of COPASTIN TABLET with other drugs.
For
safety
purposes,
inform
doctor
or
pharmacist about all the medicines you are
taking,
including
those
you
have
bought
without a prescription.
HOW TO TAKE COPASTIN TABLET
_How much to take _
Adults: one to two tablets three times daily.
Tablet should be taken according to the dose
prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist.

COPASTIN TABLET should be taken
according to the time advised by your
doctor or pharmacist.
