The Nano stemless humeral component is made of titanium alloy and includes six wings spaced equally around the body of the device. The wings and outer body portions are coated with a porous plasma spray to encourage bone ingrowth and biological fixation. The device achieves its function by serving as an integral part of the Comprehensive Shoulder System to restore shoulder function and reduce shoulder pain. Humeral component of a shoulder joint prosthesis that is affixed to the proximal humerus bone to replace or repair the articulating surface. The Comprehensive Nano is intended for uncemented fixation and forms part of the Comprehensive Shoulder system which provides a replacement option for partial, total or reverse joint arthroplasty.
