WHAT
AXCEL
CETIRIZINE
TABLETS
IS
USED FOR
Axcel Cetirizine Tablets is used for
symptomatic
treatment.
It
can
be
used to treat:

Seasonal
rhinitis
(inflammation
of the nasal airways).

Perennial allergic rhinitis (occurs
year-round).

Urticaria
(a
raised,
itchy
rash
that
appears
on
the
skin)
of
allergic origin.
HOW
AXCEL
CETIRIZINE
TABLETS
WORKS
Cetirizine
is
an
antihistamine.
It
works by competitive binding to the
peripheral H1 receptors.
BEFORE
YOU
USE
AXCEL
CETIRIZINE
TABLETS

Do not take Axcel Cetirizine Tablets
if:

You are having hypersensitivity
to any of its ingredients.

You
are
on
first
3
month
of
pregnancy
or
if
you
are
breastfeeding.

It is not prescribed by a qualified
doctor or pharmacist for you.

Tell your doctor if:

allergic
to

medicines, food and dyes.

medicines

Sedatives.

Nervous

(CNS)
depressants.
HOW
TO
USE
AXCEL
CETIRIZINE
TABLETS
_-How much to use _
Adults
and
children
12
years
and
above: 10mg once daily.
Children 6 to 11 years: 5mg twice
daily or 10mg once daily. .
Children 3 to 6 years: 2.5mg twice
daily or 5mg once daily
In patients with kidney insufficiency,
dosage should be reduced to half the
daily dose.
