WHAT VEMIZOL
IS USED FOR
Vemizol is used to treat single or mixed
infestations
of
intestinal
parasites
or
worms
including
roundworm,
whipworm,
pinworm,
threadworm,
hookworm, tapeworm and liver fluke.
HOW VEMIZOL WORKS
Vemizol
contains
Albendazole
as
an
active ingredient. Albendazole kills these
works
by
causing
them
to
starve
of
energy. It is effective against eggs, larvae
and adult worms.
BEFORE YOU USE VEMIZOL

_When you must not use it _
Do not take this medicine if you have an
allergy to:
•
Albendazole
•
any of the other ingredients listed at
the end of this leaflet
Do
not
take
this
medicine
if
you
are
pregnant
or
you
suspect
you
are
pregnant.
Vemizol is not recommended for used in
children below 1 year of age.
Do not take this medicine after the expiry
date
printed
on
the
pack
or
if
the
packaging
is
torn
or
shows
signs
of
tampering.
If it has expired or is damaged, return it
to the pharmacist for disposal.
If you are not sure whether you should
start taking this medicine, talk to your
doctor.

Tell your doctor if you have allergies to

or dyes.
Tell your doctor if you have impaired
liver function.
If symptoms persist, please consult your
doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO USE VEMIZOL
Follow all directions given to you by
your doctor and pharmacist
