Water for Injection, USP

INDICATIONS: Sterile Water for Injection, USP is indicated for use as
a sterile solvent or diluent for injectable solutions in such
species as horses, cattle, swine, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, etc.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Before piercing, cleanse stopper with suitable
antiseptic. Using aseptic technique, withdraw amount
required for use as directed by a veterinarian, in solutions for
administration by intramuscular, intravenous, subcutaneous or
intraperitoneal route.
CAUTIONS: Not suitable for parenteral use without first having been
made approximately isotonic by addition of a suitable solute.
Use only if clear. Contains no preservatives. Solutions made with this
water should be used promptly or sterilized with adequate
precautions for maintaining sterility. Discard unused portion.

solvant ou diluant stérile des solutions injectables destinées aux
espèces animales telles que les chevaux, les bovins, les porcs, les
moutons, les chèvres, les chiens, les chats, etc.
MODE D’EMPLOI: Avant de percer, nettoyer le bouchon avec un
antiseptique approprié. De façon aseptique, aspirer la quantité
requise pour utilisation, selon les recommandations d’un
vétérinaire, dans les solutions destinées à l’administration
intramusculaire,
intraveineuse, sous-cutanée ou intrapéritonéale.
