General Instructions. Poolware Algaecide must be used in conjunction with a green,blue-green (black spot) and mustard algae in swimrnlnq pool water. Poolware Algaeclde should be maintained at recommended levels and added routinely for proper control. Poolware Algaecide must be used in conjunctionwilh a pool sanitiser (eg. Granular or liquid chlorine) to effectively control algae growth. To prevent water appearing hazy, it should not be added for at least 48 hours after superchlorinating or shock treallng pool. Time delay is not required during normal dosing. Use weekly during summer and monthly during the off season. 1. If the water has heavy algae growth, superchlorinate by using unstabilised granular or liquid chlorine. Allow to stand for 48 hours. Brush poolthoroughly,vacuum and filter the water for a minimum of 6 hours. If no algae is visible, apply the usual daily dose of chlorine. 2.
