Lower jaw reconstructions systems 2.4 reconstruction and 2.4 reconstruction with splinting are intended for immediate replacement of lost mandibular bone, primary and secondary functionally stable bridging of mandibular defects after ablative surgery of tumors or after trauma, anatomic position fixation of bone stumps and fixation of bone transplants. Lower jaw fracture plate systems 2.0 fracture with splinting and 2.4 fracture are intended for provision for single and multiple fractures of the mandible including the mandibular angles and fixation of bone transplants. The fracture plate system is designed to support normal bone healing, but not to replace normal body structures or to support the body weight in cases of insufficient bone healing.
