TIMBER PRESERVATIVE AND FUNGICIDE FOR PRE-TREATMENT AND REMEDIAL TREATMENT OF TIMBER AGAINST WOOD BORERS, TERMITES, MOULD, ALGAE AND FUNGI 2 Litres GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Hovex Home Protection Termite Defender is effective in controlling surface mould, algae and fungi. At the insecticide rate the product will help control wood borers and termites. Hovex Home Protection Termite Defender is supplied in a ready to use format for a remedial preservative treatment as per the application table. If the surface is dry, the penetration of Hovex Home Protection Termite Defender will be enhanced if the surface is sprayed with water before treatment. This is always necessary when using the remedial / insecticide rate for the treatment of aged timbers with very dry surfaces. You can apply immediately after the water has been absorbed by the surface. When using high rates (remedial / insecticide) it may be necessary to apply 2 or 3 coatings leaving a 2 to 3 hour interval. PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT: DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in the original closed container, in a dry, cool, well ventilated area. Do not store for long periods in direct sunlight. DO NOT use the container for any other purposes. Triple or preferably pressure rinse the containers before disposal. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury containers in a local authority landfill. If not landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt. SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Product is poisonous if absorbed by skin contact or inhaled. Will damage eyes. Will irritate the nose, throat and skin. Do not inhale spray mist. Repeated exposure may ca Læs hele dokumentet
