Precautions:
Use with caution around eyes. If shampoo enters animal’s eyes, flush
thoroughly with clean
water. Seek veterinary advice if eye changes are observed.
Animals should not be left unattended during the recommended 10 minute
shampoo
contact time, as licking or inhaling shampoo foam may result in
irritation of the
gastrointestinal or respiratory tracts.
This product is not recommended for use in rabbits or species other
than dogs and cats.
Side Effects: RLP APPROVED
Dosage and
Administration:
50 mL of Frontline Pet Care Medicated Shampoo would be adequate to
treat a 30 kg,
medium hair length dog and 7-10 mL would be adequate for an adult cat.
Wet the animal thoroughly with clean water. Apply Frontline Pet Care
Medicated Shampoo
to the animal at several points and massage into the coat. A sponge
assists lathering
and penetration of shampoo into the coat. Ensure that Frontline Pet
Care Medicated
Shampoo is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the
toes as these areas
harbour causative organisms. Leave shampoo on the animal for 10
minutes then rinse off
thoroughly with clean water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms abate,
then weekly or as
directed by your veterinary surgeon.
