Terapeutiske indikationer:

Severe iron deficiency only when oral administration has been found impossible. In cases of gastro-intestinal malobsorption which rules out oral therapy, patients on dialysis treated with erythropoietin. The diagnosis of iron deficiency must be based on appropriate laboratory tests.
