AskleSante cushioning devices are used to provide support and comfort and/or assist the user to fulfil a functional requirement, e.g. sitting, lying, walking, toiletting or nursing. In some cases it may also assist to alleviate pressure to body parts (and development of pressure or bed sores) when the patient is immobilized for longer periods of time or has little body fat. The cushions are typically designed to achieve an intended purpose and will be made to suit that particular anatomical body part or supportive function.
