NAME OF THE VETERINARY MEDICINE

QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
Chlortetracycline hydrochloride 1.000 mg
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, 10.94 g, Acacia spray-dried 0.13 g,
Wheat starch 0.70 g,
Talc 0.10 g, Magnesium stearate 0.10 g

Vaginal tablet.

TARGET SPECIES
Cows
4.2.
INDICATIONS FOR USE WITH SPECIFICATION OF THE TARGET ANIMAL
Antibiotic treatment of the uterus after abnormal birth or after
caesarean.
Retention of the placenta.
Puerperal infections of the uterus.
4.3.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Mild to severe cases of liver and/or kidney unsufficiency.
Known hypersensitivity to tetracycline.

There are no side effects known.

The recommended withdrawal time for the use of milk of treated
animals, should be respected.

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICINES AND OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTION
Do not administer simultaneously with bactericidal products such as
penicillin, cephalosporin,

DOSAGE AND MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
The tablet must be inserted into the affected uterus horn as deeply as
possible. Clean the area
around the vulva. Wash hand and arm before inserting the tablet(s).
* CATTLE: 1 tablet.
* SHEEP/GOATS: 1/2 tablet.
To be repeated after 24 hours, if needed.
