WHAT IS CONSIQARE USED FOR
It helps in softening the stools and relieves
constipation.
For hepatic encephalopathy (HE) treatment
and
prevention
of
hepatic
coma
or
precoma.
HOW CONSIQARE WORKS
ConsiQare
contains
lactulose,
a
laxative
that
producing
bowel
movement
and
softening the stools.
BEFORE YOU USE CONSIQARE
_When you must not use it _
Do not use ConsiQare if:
•
You
have
galactosaemia
(genetic
disease
where
galactose
cannot
be
metabolized properly)
•
You are on a galactose diet.
•
You are lactose intolerance
•
You are a diabetic patients because of
the presence of some free simple sugar.
•
You
are
having
an
intestinal
obstruction.

_Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist before using
ConsiQare if:
•
You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
•
You
are
taking
other
medications
including herbs and supplements.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are
taking or have recently taken any other
medicines.
This
includes
any
medicines
which
you
have
bought
without
a
prescription.

HOW TO USE CONSIQARE
_How much to use_

It may take up to 48 hours before an effect
is obtained. The dose is gradually adjusted
according to response.
