Terapeutiske indikationer:

'The sterile implantable portion of a combined cochlear/vestibular implant system that typically consists of battery-powered electrode arrays surgically implanted in one cochlea and three semicircular canals, and a receiver-stimulator implanted in the skull near the ear and connected to the electrode arrays. Electrical signals are transmitted from the external portion of the device to the receiver-stimulator and ultimately to the cochlea and the semicircular canals, via the electrode arrays, for the partial restoration of auditory sensation and vestibular function. Dedicated implantation instruments may be included.
