For the treatment of patients with the following myelodysplastic syndromes subtypes: refractory anemia or refractory anemia with ringed sideroblasts ( if accompanied by neutropenia or thrombocytopenia or requiring transfusions),refractory anaemia with excess blasts, refractory anaemia with excess blasts in transformation, and chronic myelomonocytic leukaema.
