Terapeutiske indikationer:

Acute myocardial infarction in adults for the lysis of thrombi obstructing coronary arteries the improvement of ventricular function and reduction of the incidence of congestive heart failure. Pulmonary embolism with hemodynamic deprivation. For fibrinolytic treatment of acute ischaemic stroke. Treatment must be started within 3 hours of onset of the stroke symptoms and after prior exclusion of intracranial haemorrhage by means of appropriate imaging techniques.This treatment is restricted to a prescription by aspecialist in neurology.
