LABEL.
THIS PRODUCT MUST NOT BE USED FOR GROWTH PROMOTION IN RUMINANTS
INTENDED FOR
HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not treat cattle with products containing erythromycin, tiamulin or
oleandomycin while
using Rumenox 200 Premix. Do not treat poultry with products
containing tiamulin or
oleandomycin while feeding Rumenox 200 Premix. Severe growth
depression may occur.
CAUTION:
Do not allow dogs, horses or other equines access to any feed or water
containing monensin
or any monensin product or its packaging. Consumption of monensin may
be fatal to these
animals.
NOTE: MEDICATED FEED MUST BE LABELLED WITH PRECAUTIONS AND RESTRAINTS
All rations (including dry feeds, silage, wet feeds) should be
converted to 90% dry
matter for calculation of the Rumenox 200 Premix dosage rates.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
CATTLE DAIRY:
As an aid in the prevention of ketosis in lactating cows, as an aid in
the reduction of bloat, as
an aid in the prevention and control of coccidiosis caused by _Eimeria
bovis_ and _Eimeria _
_zuernii_ , and for increased milk protein production
(Note; the increase in milk protein will mean a reduction in milk fat
percentage but not in
the actual fat yield.)
Complete Feeds:
Thoroughly mix Rumenox 200 Premix into the ration to provide 300mg of
monensin per
animal per day. This is equivalent to providing 1.5 grams of Rumenox
200 Premix per cow
per day. The inclusion rate should be adjusted to take into account
feed intake.
Supplements: Thoroughly mix Rumenox 200 Premix into the supplement to
provide 300mg
monensin per animal per day when the supplement is fed at the
recommended rate. This is
