Net Contents: 200 mL 500 mL Directions for Use: Restraints: Contraindications: This product is contraindicated for use when selenium intake from pasture is high or selenium is provided by other means (such as top dressing, vaccine, pellets or selenium drenches) if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can determine selenium status by consulting their veterinarian. Precautions: This product should not be administered to sheep with known liver damage concurrently grazing plants which contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids, such as Patterson's Curse or heliotrope. Side Effects: RLP APPROVED Dosage and Administration: Use the contents within 24 hours of first broaching. Discard the unused portion. Give dose by subcutaneous injection only. LAMBS: 0.5 mL at marking or weaning. SHEEP: 1 - 1.5 mL pre lambing. CALVES: 2 – 3 mL from 2 months of age. COWS: 4 – 6 mL pre calving. The frequency of dosing should be related to the severity of the deficiencies. For instance, for sheep in extremely deficient areas, repeat dose every 2-3 months. In severely selenium deficient areas, use a calculated dose of 0.1 mg Se/kg body weight. In less deficient areas, repeat dose every 5-6 months or as found necessary. Consult your animal health adviser for advice specific to your flock or herd. CAUTION: Avoid carcass damage • Sterilise all injection apparatus by boiling (or equivalent) before use.
