®
Pyritinol Dihydrochloride Monohydrate
Encephabol is encephalotropic drug. It improves cerebral metabolism
and central cholinergic transmission and normalizes the cerebral
microcirculation.
COMPOSITIONS
Each Encephabol sugar coated tablet contains Pyritinol Dihydrochloride
Monohydrate 100 mg
One measuring spoon (5 ml) Encephabol liquid contains Pyritinol 80.5
mg corresponding to Pyritinol Dihydrochloride Monohydrate 100 mg
(one Encephabol sugar coated tablet). Sugar replacement : Sorbitol.
MODE OF ACTIONS
Encephabol exerts a beneficial effect on various regions of the
neuronal
metabolism, enhance the activity of the central cholinergic system
and protects the nerve cells in cerebral deficiencies, such as
hypoxia.
Encephabol normalizes the blood fluidity parameters and raises the
regional cerebral blood flow in ischemic areas.
Encephabol increases the vigilance by activation of cortical and
subcortical structures of the brain and improves the most important
clinical symptoms of impaired brain functions.
CLINICAL PARTICULARS
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Disturbances of cerebral circulations such as :
Craniocerebral traumas, condition after brain surgery, cerebrovascular
accidents and cerebral degenerative processes, prophylaxis of
postnarcotic confusional states, condition after cerebral anoxia (e.g.
following cardiac arrest).
