DO NOT MIX WITH DETERGENTS OR OTHER CHEMICALS.
DETSAN can be applied by high pressure spraying, steam cleaning,
immersion or hand
scrubbing.
SANITISING IN "DIRTY" CONDITIONS (simultaneous cleaning and sanitising
in one
operation): Dilute 1 volume of DETSAN in 20 volumes of water.
GENERAL CLEANING: Dilute DETSAN 1:50. After cleaning, rinse all
surfaces with potable
water.
NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS
LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
DETSAN is a liquid cationic detergent sanitiser used in food
processing industries to render
inanimate surfaces physically clean and free from most common
bacteria. DETSAN is
ideally suited for cleaning and sanitising food processing equipment
such as filling
machines, holding tanks, cookers, syrup tanks, boning tables, cutting
implements,
eviscerating tables, conveyor belts and mixing pans.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT
Dangerous to fish. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways
with
the chemical or used containers.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store in the closed, original container in a well-ventilated area,
below 30°C.
Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Triple or
preferably
pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to solution,
or disposal
of with empty container. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on
site. If
recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or
designated
collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury
empty
containers in a local authority la
