1. DESCRIPTION
curea 150 is an OR-table sheet for single use and consists of a
laminate of a polypropylene nonwoven with a
breathable polyethylene film, an absorbent core made of cellulose and
polyacrylate covered with another layer of
polypropylene nonwoven.
curea 150 can bear loads up to 150 kg, if the patient lies
outstretched and the patient’s weight is distributed evenly
over the length of the product. curea 150 is pervious to x-rays.
2. INDICATION
·
general use superabsorbent OR table cover
·
curea 150 is intended for the transport of patients between OR-table
and transport stretcher.
·
highly absorbent cover to protect transport stretcher and OR-table
3. CONTRAINDICATION
·
curea 150 is not a carrying sheet acc. EN 1865-1
·
extremely wet conditions (e.g. outdoor use, > 1 L fluid)
·
loads exceeding 150 kg and punctiform loads
4. APPLICATION
Lay the patient in the middle of the roughly structured, non-printed
surface of the product. To lift the sheet, firmly
grab the left and right long sides along the absorbent core. Lift
smoothly and carefully, DO NOT lift abruptly. Shift the
patient with appropriate promptness.
5. ADVERSE REACTIONS
No adverse reactions are known. Very heavy patients (> 150 kg) cannot
be lifted with curea 150, because the product
might tear.
6. WARNINGS
curea 150 is designed for single use only. Do not re-use to prevent
the possible risk of infection.
Do not use for loads exceeding 150 kg, do not use damaged products
7. OTHER NOTICES
curea 150 is Latex-free and phatlate-free
8. STORAGE
Store in a dry place and protect from high humidity.
Protect from direct sun light.
9. DISPOSAL
curea 150 can be disposed of with the household waste or in accordance
with the local provisions. Special
guidelines in medical institutions governing the disposal (e.g. for
multi-resistant MRSA or VRE) must be
complied with.
