WHAT XYDEX SOLUTION IS
USED FOR
XYDEX Solution is an antimicrobial
preparation for general antiseptic
purposes.
HOW XYDEX SOLUTION
WORKS
Chlorhexidine gluconate and
cetrimide have a broad spectrum of
antimicrobial activity and are
bacteriostatic at low concentrations
whilst at higher concentrations their
activity is rapidly bactericidal.

HOW TO USE XYDEX
SOLUTION
HOW MUCH TO USE
Apply the diluted solution to the area
to be disinfected. Removes excess
liquid immediately.
WHEN TO USE IT
Treatment should start as early as
possible.
HOW LONG TO USE IT
Your doctor will tell you exactly how
long you will need to use the
solution.
IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE IT
Apply it as soon as you remember.
IF YOUR USED TOO MUCH (OVERDOSE)
If you accidentally ingested, consult
your doctor immediately.
WHILE YOU ARE USING
XYDEX SOLUTION
THINGS YOU MUST DO

Dilute with water or alcohol
before used.

Always wash your hands before
and after using the solution.

Inform your doctor if you develop
any allergic reactions.

Seek medical advice immediately
if your symptoms persist.
THINGS YOU MUST NOT DO

Avoid contact with the eyes,
brain, meninges and middle ear.

It should not be used in body
cavities (eg mouth, ear).
