WHAT POVIDONE-IODINE SOLUTION IS USED
FOR
For the treatment of minor cuts, abrasions
and skin infections and for preparation of
skin prior to surgery.
HOW POVIDONE-IODINE SOLUTION WORKS
Gradually releases iodine upon contact
with
skin,
and
acts
quickly
by
killing
microorganism
such
as
bacteria
and
fungi.
BEFORE USING POVIDONE-IODINE SOLUTION
_When you must not use it _
•
You
are
allergic
to
iodine
or
other
ingredients present in the solution.
•
You
are
suffering
from
thyroid
disorders.
•
Patients
with
hypersensitivity
to
iodides.

Please consult your doctor or pharmacist
before using it.
_Taking other medicines_
Do tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are taking any other medications.
Absorption of povidone-iodine may
