General Instructions:
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Nufarm Flight® is a post-emergence, foliar-absorbed product with
short soil residual
activity. Under favourable conditions, this pre-emergence activity
will provide some control
of subsequently germinating weed seedlings.
Warning Statements and General Safety Precautions
DO NOT use an open mixing and loading system when preparing spray for
fixed wing aerial
application.
Mixing
Half fill the spray tank with clean water. Commence agitation and add
the required amount
of product to the tank. Maintain agitation whilst filling the tank and
throughout the spraying
operation.
Application
Ground application: Apply with flat fan nozzles in a spray volume of
50 - 150L of water per
hectare using standard boom spraying equipment. Application as a

CRITICAL COMMENTS
Wheat, Barley,
Oats, Triticale,
Cereal rye
(including
undersown with
clover)
Wild radish (_Raphanus raphanistrum_)
Up to the 4 leaf stage and not more than 12 cm in diameter
360 mL/ha
Apply to actively growing weeds, free from stress. See
“Restraints”.
Apply to crops from the 3 leaf stage (Z13) but prior to late tillering
(Z28). The maximum 720 mL/ha rate is safe to use on crops at the 3
leaf stage but Nufarm Flight® may cause transient yellowing of
cereals, with oats being potentially most sensitive.
Residual control can be impaired by dry soil conditions and by
inadequate soil surface coverage. Good soil moisture before and
after application will assist performance. Good spray coverage of
weeds is essential. Spray before crop canopy begins to close.
Increase spray volume when weed or crop density is high.
Transplanted weeds will not be adequately controlled.
Nufarm Flight® will provide better control than PARAGON of wild
radish populations with developing resistance to Groups 4 and/or
12. Rates of 540 - 720 mL/ha are recommended for more robust
control and to maximize the reduction in seed return to the soil
bank. Due to the wide variability in resistance levels in wild radish
populations in WA absolute control cannot be guaranteed.
¥
Weed diameter does not apply to prickly lettuce.
** SUPPRESSION ONLY. These species are not consistently controlled
by Nufarm Flight®, but are usually significantly affected.
