For the treatment of Threadworm (_Capillaria spp_),
Caecal
worm
(_Heterakis _
_spp_),
Roundworm
(_Ascaridia _
_spp_),
Gape
worm
(_Syngamus _
_spp_),
Gizzard
worm
(_Acuaria _
_spp_)
and
Tapeworm
(_Raillietina spp_) in ornamental caged birds.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Dilute the concentrate syrup
by adding 0.5mL (12 drops from dropper) to 20mL of
water. Use this as the sole source of drinking water
for 24 hours and administer 2 doses 14 days apart.
This
provides
doses
of
34mg/kg
bodyweight
levamisole and 8mg/kg praziquantel, based on an
average bodyweight of 30g and consumption of 5mL
of liquid per day. Or give as directed by a veterinarian.
PRECAUTIONS:
Not
recommended
for
use
in
finches, as safety as has not been established. Do
not dose in extremely hot, dry weather or treat
stressed birds, or birds that are feeding young. Do
not overdose.
GENERAL
INSTRUCTIONS:
Solution
should
be
freshly made up before dosing. Discard prepared
solution
after
24
hours.
Further
dilution
of
this
solution may be required in hot weather. Do not use
in species used for human consumption.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
Eggs: 10 DAYS Meat: 14 DAYS
STORAGE: Store below 30°C (room temperature).
