PRAZIQUANTEL
Claims:
For the treatment and control of roundworms (Toxocara spp., Toxascaris
leonina),
hookworms (Uncinaria stenocephala, Anclostoma spp.), whipworms
(Trichuris vulpis) and
adult tapeworms (Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum, Spirometra erinacei
and
Echinococcus granulosus), in dogs.
This product does not control heartworm.

Abantel 35 is given as a single oral dose.
No need to withdraw food prior to dosing. RLP APPROVED
Weigh dog before treatment to calculate the correct dose.
Can be administered directly into the mouth or crushed and mixed with
the feed.
1 tablet per 35kg bodyweight.

Specific treatment for Spirometra erinacei is by administering ABANTEL
35 BROAD
SPECTRUM WORMER FOR DOGS four (4) times the above dose rate.
General Directions:
TREATMENT REGIMES
ROUNDWORMS & HOOKWORMS Treat at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age and
thereafter
every 12 weeks.
WHIPWORMS Treat every 6-8 weeks after 12 weeks of age.
TAPEWORMS (including Hydatids) Treat every 6 weeks.
TAPEWORMS (excluding Hydatids) Treat every 12 weeks.
Pregnant Bitches: Treat at mating, before whelping, and then every
three months.
For Dipylidium treatment adequate flea control should be maintained
year around.
Dogs should not be fed raw offal from any animal species.
