Aakland Teatsan Plus contains chlorhexidine gluconate which provides
broad-spectrum antimicrobial
activity, for use as an aid in
the
control of mastitis
in
dairy cows.
It
is quick acting
yet
provides
continued protection between milkings. Aakland Teatsan Plus also
contains
40%
v/v
glycerine to
improve
teat
condition.
It
is
non-irritating, will not harm cows
teats
and will not
taint
milk.
DIRECTIONS
FOR
USE
1.
Add
1 part
by
volume Aakland Teatsan Plus to 9 parts clean
water
in a plastic
or
stainless
steel
bucket and stir in. This provides
0.45%
w/v
Chlorhexidine Gluconate
in
the
teat
spray solution.
2. Spray or dip
teats
with
the-teat
spray solution
after
every milking. Apply with a fine spray till
teats
are covered, indicated
by
a droplet of
the
solution form ing
at
the tip of each
teat.
By
law
the
user
must
take
due
care,
obtaining
expert
advice
when
necessary,
to
avoid
unnecessary pain
and
distress
when
using this
product
other
than
as dj_rected on
the
label.
RECOMMENDATION
Store concentrate and use solutions
in
a cool dry place
out
of
direct
sunlight. Make up
no
more than
7 days of the use solution. Store only
in
plastic or stainless
steel
containers
that
have no cork
components, and keep covered.
