IF NOT USING A SEALED PRESSURE INJECTION UNIT: The area to be fumigated should be well cultivated and the soil/compost should be moist but not wet. Make a furrow (150 mm deep) around the plot to be treated and lay tarpaulin, polythene or other plastic sheeting over cover supports (e.g. inverted bottles or wire hoops), to enclose the material to be fumigated.
