Lacosamide film-coated tablets are indicated as: ? monotherapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalisation in patients with epilepsy aged 16 years and older. ? add-on therapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalisation in patients with epilepsy aged 4 years and older. ? add-on therapy in the treatment of primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures in patients with idiopathic generalised epilepsy aged 4 years and older.

LACOSACOR film-coated tablets contains the active ingredient lacosamide. LACOSACOR work by controlling brain chemicals which send signals to nerves so that seizures do not happen. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to LACOSACOR or any of the ingredients listed at the end of the CMI. THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT DO • Do not give this medicine to anyone else, even if their condition seems similar to yours. • Do not use it to treat any other complaints unless your doctor tells you to. DRIVING OR USING MACHINES • Be careful before you drive or use any machines or tools until you know how LACOSACOR affects you. • LACOSACOR cause problems with your ability to drive a car or operate machinery. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION LACOSACOR film-coated tablets are available in strengths of 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg and 200 mg lacosamide. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM Film-coated tablets LACOSACOR film coated tablets 50 mg Pink, oval shaped, film coated tablets debossed with "LAC" on one side and "50" on other side.
