Protect up to 100m 2 of Precious Garden Scatter the pellets thinly over the soil, around the plants or wherever the slugs and snails are to be found. Apply pellets 10cm apart (or at a rate of 5g. per square metre). For best results apply on a warm, moist evening, after rain or after garden watering when snails and slugs are most likely to attack your precious plants and vegetables. Application of snail pellets must be in small quantities to minimize the risk of pet poisonings. Although dosage rates recommended are small, they can be made every 2-3 days, thus allowing effective treatment of snail and slugs as previous pellets are eaten. Scatter small quantities sparingly around and between plants. NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OR IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED. CAUTION Keep away from domestic pets. Keep away from dogs. Dogs m ay find this bait attractive and it may kill them. Observe animal behaviour after pellets have been applied, and if in doubt remove the animal from the treated area. If pets are poisoned, contact a veterinary surgeon. PET-SAFETY 'Defender Petrepel' contains both taste and smell deterrent s, to discourage consumption by pets. However, some dogs and especially puppies can be attracted to heaped pellets and in some instances, individual pellets.
