The injector presents a convenient applicator for single use thus minimising the risk of introduction of new infections during administration. Cloxacillin and ampicillin are both semi-synthetic penicillins derived from 6-aminopenicillanic acid, while the Intercept portion prevents mastitis from new infections by forming a physical barrier at the entry of the teat canal. Active Constituent: Each 8.5g syringe contains 1 dose of each of two products in a long-acting oily base: Cloxacillin (as the benzathine salt) 500mg and Ampicillin (as the trihydrate) 250mg in the front half near the nozzle, and bismuth subnitrate 2.6g and chlorhexidine 20mg (0.5%w/w) in the rear half of the injector. INDICATIONS DC Duo is packed to be administered as a simultaneous application of two suspension products for dry cow therapy. It is formulated for use in the dairy cow at the point of drying off, that is as soon as possible after the last milking of the lactation, in order to treat existing mastitis and to provide protection against further infections during the dry period. The antibiotic portion of DC Duo is effective against _Streptococcus uberis_ and other _Streptococcus_ spp., penicillin-resistant and sensitive _Staphylococcus _spp. The effective antibacterial levels in the dry udder are maintained for up to সম্পূর্ণ নথি পড়ুন
