WHAT BORYMYCIN CAPSULE IS USED
FOR
BORYMYCIN CAPSULE is used to treat
respiratory
tract,
urinary
tract,
skin,
eye,
sexually
transmitted,
intestine
and
brain
infection
HOW BORYMYCIN CAPSULE WORKS
BORYMYCIN
CAPSULE
contains
minocycline
which
acts
by
inhibiting
protein production within the bacteria, thus
preventing the growth of bacteria.
BEFORE YOU USE BORYMYCIN CAPSULE
_-When you must not use it _
Do not take BORYMYCIN CAPSULE if
you are:
-
allergic
to
minocycline,
any
other
tetracycline or any other ingredients of
this
medicine
(listed
in
Product
Description)
- having end-stage kidney disease
- Do not give to children under 12 years old
because
of
possible
adverse
effects
on
developing bones and teeth of the children.
-
pregnant,
planning
for
pregnancy
or
breastfeeding.
BORYMYCIN
CAPSULE
cannot
be
used
during
pregnancy
and
lactation because of possible adverse effects
on developing bones and teeth of the unborn
baby and newborn.
_-Before you start to use it _
Tell
your
doctor
or
pharmacist
if
you
are/have:
- systemic lupus erythematosus (a disease of
the immune system which affects skin,
bones, joints and internal organs.)
- myasthenia gravis (condition that cause
muscle weakness) because of risk of nerve
transmission impulse blockage
_-Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking:
- Antacids eg: sodium bicarbonate
- Blood thinning medication

Cholesterol
lowering
medication
eg:
colestipol
- Iron
- Oral contraceptives
- Painkiller eg: methoxyflurane
