WHAT
UPHASTATIN
CREAM
IS
USED FOR
Uphastatin used to prevent and
treat skin fungal infections that
caused
by
a
fungus
called
_Candida_
.
HOW
UPHASTATIN
CREAM
WORKS
Uphastatin Cream contains the
active
ingredient
Nystatin,
which belongs to the group of
medicine called antifungal.
Nystatin works by interfering
the
fungal
cell
membrane
causing inability to function as
a selective barrier.
BEFORE
YOU
USE
UPHASTATIN
CREAM

_When you must not take it_
Do not use Uphastatin Cream
if you are allergic to nystatin or
any of the ingredients listed at
the end of this leaflet.
Do not use this medicine after
the expiry date printed on the
pack or if the packaging is torn
or shows signs of tampering. If
it has expired or is damaged,
return it to your pharmacist for
disposal.
If you are not sure whether you
should start using this medicine,
talk to your doctor.

Tell your doctor if you have
allergies
to
any
other
medicines, foods, preservatives
or dyes.
Do
not
apply
occlusive
dressing over this medication
unless
directed
by
the
physician.
