DESCRIPTION
Nobivac KC is a live attenuated freeze-dried intranasal vaccine
containing _Bordetella _
_bronchiseptica_ and canine parainfluenza virus. Sterile diluent
(sterile water) and special applicator
tips are provided.
Each vial (1 dose when reconstituted) contains:

Dose: 0.4mL into a single nostril.
INDICATION
For the active immunisation of dogs against _B. bronchiseptica_ and
canine parainfluenza virus,
aiding in the protection against kennel cough. Immunity is achieved as
early as 72 hours after
vaccination for _B. bronchiseptica _and 3 weeks for canine
parainfluenza. Duration of immunity is
one year. This vaccine may be used in pregnant bitches.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Sterile injection equipment should be used.
Aseptically reconstitute the freeze-dried vaccine with the sterile
diluent provided. Fill a 1 mL
disposable syringe with 1 dose (0.4 mL) of vaccine. Remove the needle
and connect the
applicator tip. Fix the head of the dog in a normal upright position,
place the applicator tip in front
of one of the nostrils and carefully administer the whole contents of
the syringe into this nostril.
(Only one nostril needs to be inoculated). The vaccine should be used
within one hour of
reconstitution.
