LATARO-TIM
EYE DROPS
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS AND ITS QUANTITY:
Each 1 ml contains:
latanoprost 0.05 mg
timolol (as maleate) 5 mg

MEDICINE. This leaflet
contains concise information about this medicine. If you have any
further questions,
consult your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine has been prescribed for you. Do not pass it on to
others. It may harm
them, even if it seems to you that their medical condition is similar
to yours.
1. WHAT IS THIS MEDICINE INTENDED FOR?
To reduce intraocular pressure in patients suffering from open angle
glaucoma and
increased ocular pressure, who do not respond fully to beta blockers
(intended for
external use).
THERAPEUTIC GROUP:
Latanoprost - prostaglandin analog. Acts by increasing fluid flow from
the eye to the
circulation.
Timolol
–
beta blocker. Acts by slowing fluid production in the eye.
2. BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE
DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE IF:
•
You are sensitive (allergic) to the active ingredients or to any of
the other
ingredients contained in this medicine (listed in section 6).
•
You are sensitive (allergic) to beta-blockers.
•
You suffer, or have suffered in the past, from respiratory problems
such as
asthma, severe chronic obstructive bronchitis (a severe lung disease
which may
be manifested by wheezing, difficulty breathing and/or persistent
cough).
•
You suffer from serious heart problems or heart rhythm disorders.
•
You are breastfeeding.
SPECIAL WARNINGS ABOUT USING THIS MEDICINE
