CALCIUM L-METHYL FOLATE 400 MCG
DESCRIPTION
Light yellow round tablet mark ‘m’ one side and plain on the other
side.
COMPOSITION
Each film coated tablet contains:
367.84mcg…………………..Folate
32.16 mcg…………………...Calcium
INDICATIONS
Used as health supplement.
ADVERSE REACTIONS/SIDE EFFECTS
Unknown.
PRECAUTION/WARNINGS
Folates, when administered as a single agent in doses above 0.1
mg daily,
may obscure
pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while
neurological manisfestations
remain progressive.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Known hypersensitivity to any of the components in the product is a
contraindication.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1 or 2 tablet(s) once daily with or without meal.

Before taking this health supplement product during pregnancy and
breastfeeding, tell your
doctor and pharmacist about all other health supplement product you
use.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Aminosalicylates: absorption of folic acid possibly reduced by
sulfasalazine
Antiepileptics: folates possibly reduce plasma concentration of
phenytoin and promidone
Barbiturates: folates possibly reduce plasma concentration of
Phenobarbital
Cytotoxics: avoidance of folates adviced by manufacturer of
raltitrexed.

This tablet is available in PVC-Alu blister pack of 3×10’s tablets.
