EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine suppresses production of angiotensin II, which is a
hypertensive substance, by
inhibiting angiotensin-converting enzyme, and consequently decreases
blood pressure. It also
improves hemodynamics and raises cardiac output by decreasing
peripheral vascular
resistance, and consequently improves cardiac hypertrophy.
It is usually used in the treatment of various hypertensions and
chronic heart failure (mild to
moderate).
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itching,
rash, etc.) to any
medicines or foods.
If you have a history of angioedema.
If you are a patient with renal disorder or cerebrovascular disorder
(cerebral stroke etc.).
If you are receiving apheresis or hemodialysis.
If you are on a sodium restriction diet.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
