Glucosamine Hydrochloride
500 mg

400 mg

CLINICAL PARTICULARS
_4.1 _
_THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS _
■
Degenerative-dystrophic
illnesses
of
the
joints
and
spine;
osteoarthrosis
(stages I-III), osteochondrosis.
_4.2 _
_POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION _
Orally. Adults and children over 15 years of age: for the first three
weeks – 1
capsule
should
be
administered
3
times
daily;
subsequently
–
1
capsule
administered 2 times daily, regardless of meals, and washed down with
a small
amount of water. The recommended duration of the course of treatment
is 3 to 6
months. If necessary, repeat courses of treatment may be taken, the
length of
which should be set individually.

_CONTRAINDICATIONS _
Children under the age of 15, individual hypersensitivity to any of
the ingredients
(allergic reactions). phenylketonuria, pregnancy, lactation period,
severe chronic
renal insufficiency.
_4.4 _
_SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE _
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
At the beginning of treatment it is advisable for diabetic patients to
monitor their
blood glucose levels.
The product should be administered with caution to patients with
bleeding, with a
predisposition to bleeding, and with bronchial asthma.

_INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEDICINAL PRODUCTS AND OTHER FORMS OF
INTERACTIONS _
If you are taking or took recently any other drug products, inform
your doctor.
The product improves the assimilation of tetracyclines and reduces the
effect of
penicillins and chloramphenicol. Theraflex enhances the action of
antiaggregants,
fibrinolytic agents as well as coumarin anticoagulants (e.g.
warfarin), which may
cause the INR (international normalized ratio) values to rise, and
lead to bleeding.
