EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine has beta-blocking action and vasodilator effct. It
improves the condition of
hypertension and angina.
It is usually used to treat (mild to moderate) essential hypertension,
renal parenchymal
hypertension, and angina.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have: diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, bradycardia,
atrioventricular block,
sinoatrial block, sick sinus syndrome, cardiogenic shock, congestive
heart failure, right
cardiac failure due to pulmonary hypertension, untreated
pheochromocytoma or
paraganglioma, bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, hypoglycemia, diabetes,
thyrotoxicosis,
disorders in liver/kidney, peripheral circulatory disorder, variant
angina pectoris.
If you are long fasting state, just before having surgery.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
