الخصائص العلاجية:

Hypertension congestive heart failure reduction of mortality in patients after MI with left ventricular dysfunction. For reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, cardiovascular death or need for revascularization procedures in patients over 55 years or more who have clinical evidence of cardiovascular disease (previous MI unstable angina or multivessel CABG or multivessel PTCA) stroke or peripheral vascular disease. Also for reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke cardiovascular death or need for revascularization procedures in diabetic patients of 55 years or more who have one or more of the following clinical findings : hypertension (systolic blood pressure > 160 mmHg or diastolic pressure > 90 mmHg) high total cholesterol (>5.2 mmol/L) low HDL ( <0.9 mmol/L) current smoker known microalbuminuria clinical evidence of previous vascular disease. Prevention of progressive renal failure in patients with persistent proteinuria in excess of 1g/day.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each Ramipril Inovamed 2.5 tablet contains: Ramipril
2.5 mg
Each Ramipril Inovamed 5 tablet contains: Ramipril
5 mg
Each Ramipril Inovamed 10 tablet contains: Ramipril
10 mg

information about some of the ingredients of the
medicine’ in section 2.

USING THE MEDICINE. This leaflet contains concise
information about the medicine. If you have further
questions, refer to the doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine has been prescribed to treat you. Do not
pass it on to others. It may harm them even if it seems
to you that their medical condition is similar.
1. WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED FOR?
The medicine is used for the treatment of hypertension,
to reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke, to reduce
the risk or delay progression of kidney problems )in
patients with or without diabetes(, for the treatment
of heart failure, for treatment after a heart attack
associated with heart failure.
THERAPEUTIC GROUP: Antihypertensive, from the ACE
inhibitors group.
2. BEFORE USING THE MEDICINE
DO NOT USE THE MEDICINE:
- if you are sensitive )allergic( to the active ingredient
ramipril, or to another preparation from the ACE
inhibitors group, or to any of the additional
ingredients contained in the medicine )see section
6(. Signs of an allergic reaction can include: rash,
difficulty swallowing or breathing, swelling of the
lips, face, throat or tongue.
- if you have suffered in the past from a severe
allergic reaction called angioedema, whose
signs include: tingling, urticaria, red patches on
the hands, feet and neck, swelling of the throat
and tongue, swelling around the eyes and lips,
difficulties breathing and swallowing.
