This medicine is sold without a doctor’s prescription
RAFATHRICIN WITH LIDOCAINE
LOZENGES
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Each lozenge contains:
Tyrothricin 1 mg and Lidocaine (as hydrochloride) 1 mg.
For the list of inactive ingredients, please see section 6.
READ THIS ENTIRE LEAFLET CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE MEDICINE.
This leaflet contains concise information about the medicine. If you
have any further
questions, please refer to your doctor or pharmacist.
Refer to your doctor if the symptoms get worse or do not improve after
2 days.
Use this medicine in the correct manner. Consult your pharmacist if
you require additional
information.
This medicine is not intended for children under 6 years of age.
1. WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED FOR?
This medicine is intended for the fast relief of severe sore throat
and for relief of mouth and
throat infections.
THERAPEUTIC GROUP:
Tyrothricin - antibiotic substance with local effectiveness
Lidocaine - local anesthetic
2. BEFORE USING THE MEDICINE DO NOT USE THE MEDICINE IF:

Do not use if you are sensitive (allergic) to the active ingredients,
to other anesthetic
substances or to any of the other ingredients the medicine contains
(for a list of inactive
ingredients, please see section 6).

Do not use in children under the age of 6 years.
SPECIAL WARNINGS REGARDING THE USE OF THIS MEDICINE:

Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a long period, without
consulting your
doctor.

If you are sensitive to any type of food or medicine, inform your
doctor before using
this medicine.

Consult your doctor if you suffer from a severe, persistent sore
throat (longer than 5
days) and/or accompanied by fever, headache, dizziness, nausea and
vomiting.

The anesthetic action of the medicine may make it difficult to swallow
or cause you
to bite your tongue, therefore caution should be employed when using
it. Likewise,
do not use the medicine before chewing and/or drinking. Avoid eating
