WHAT HERPESAN IS USED FOR
Herpesan
is
indicated
for
the
symptomatic relief and treatment of
Lip Sores and Mouth Ulcers.
HOW HERPESAN WORKS
It gives immediate relief to the pain
and assists the natural healing process.
BEFORE YOU USE HERPESAN
_- When you must not use it _
•
are
allergic
to
carbenoxolone
sodium
or
any
of
the
other
ingredients
of
this
medicine
(listed product description)
_ _
•
suffer from any severe heart, liver
or kidney complaints
_ _
•
suffer from high blood pressure
_ _
•
are
on
medication
for
a
heart
condition.
_ _
_- Before you start to use it _
Talk
to
your
doctor
or
pharmacist
before using Herpesan.
•
have
a
low
level
of
albumin
(protein) in your blood
•
are under 3 years or elderly
•
are pregnant or breastfeeding
•
If an infection is present, you may
also
need
an
antibiotic.
If
symptoms persist for more than 2
weeks, consult your doctor.
_Pregnancy and Breast-feeding _
Herpesan should not be used during
pregnancy or breast-feeding. Ask your
doctor or pharmacist for advice before
taking any medicine.
_- Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you
are
taking,
have
recently
taken
or
might
take
any
other
medicines,
including medicines obtained without
a prescription.

Do
not
use
if
you
are
on
medication for the treatment of
heart problems.

told
you.
