STATEMENT OF THE ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND
OTHER INGREDIENTS
Each ml contains:
Active substances:
Spectinomycin (sulphate tetrahydrate) ..............100 mg
Lincomycin (hydrochloride) ..................................50 mg
Excipients:
Benzyl alcohol (E1510) (as preservative) ...............9 mg
Excipients, n.q.
Clear and colourless solution
INDICATIONS
Treatment of infections caused by strains sensitive to the
association lincomycin / spectinomycin
CATTLE:
Pneumonia
caused
by
_Pasteurella _
_multocida_
and
_Mycoplasma_ spp.
PIGS:
Swine dysentery caused by _Brachyspira hyodysenteriae. _
Enzootic
pneumonia
caused
by
_Mycoplasma _
_hyopneumoniae._
SHEEP:
Pneumonia
caused
by
_Pasteurella _
_multocida_
and
_Mycoplasma_ spp.
Footrot
caused
by
_Dichelobacter _
_nodosus _
and
_Fusobacterium necrophorum._
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do
not
use
in
animals
with
known
hypersensitivity
to
lincomycin,
spectinomycin
or
other
antibacterial
lincosamides
or
aminocyclitols
and/or
any
of
its
excipients. Do not use in horses, as lincomycin causes
haemorrhagic colitis and diarrhoea with very serious
results. Do not use in animals suffering from pre-existing
infections of _Monilia _spp.
SIDE EFFECTS
In very rare case, after intramuscular administration,
pain and local irritation may occur.
The frequency of adverse reactions is defined using the
following convention:
- very common (more than 1 in 10 animals treated
displaying adverse reactions)
- common (more than 1 but less than 10 animals in 100
animals treated)
- uncommon (more than 1 but less than 10 animals in
1,000 animals treated)
- rare (more than 1 but less than 10 animals in 10,000
animals treated)
- very rare (less than 1 animal in 10,000 animals treated,
including isolated reports).

that
the

surgeon.
