It is intended for single use, and the tray includes an epidural (Weiss needle), and a spinal (Whitacre) needle, a ribbed lumen catheter and connectors, a LOR syringe, a Variable Extension Adapter, and other accessory components. The variable extension spinal needle comes with a smooth action “push button” which allows for precise adjustment of the spinal needle extension in the subarachnoid space. The spinal needle is locked at the position desired to avoid displacement of the spinal needle tip.
