STATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS NATURE
This product is classified as:
Xi, Irritating. T, Toxic. Hazardous according to the criteria of SWA.
Dangerous according to the Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code.
RISK PHRASES:
R36, R23/24/25, R39/23/24/25. Irritating to eyes. Toxic by inhalation,
in contact with skin, and if
swallowed. Toxic: danger of very serious irreversible effects through
inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.
SAFETY PHRASES:

Keep out of reach of
children. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of
ignition - No smoking. When using, do not eat or

skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and

An aid in the treatment of foot rot in sheep,
digital dermatitis in cattle and superficial skin
infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive
organisms in pigs, sheep and cattle.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Before spraying, the
infected area should be cleansed and hooves should be
pared. Holding the can upright, spray at a distance of 10 -
15 cm for a minimum of 5 seconds or until the area is
covered. Treated cattle and sheep should be allowed to
stand on dry ground for 1 hour before returning to pasture.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Oxytetracycline is active against a wide range of
gram-positive and gram-negative pathogenic bacteria. In
severe infections, topical treatment should be
supplemented with systemic antibiotic treatment.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MEAT: NIL
MILK: NIL
AVOID MILK CONTAMINATION. WASH THOROUGHLY FROM TEATS
AND UDDERS PRIOR TO MILKING.
TRADE ADVICE
EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): ANIMALS CAN
BE SLAUGHTERED FOR EXPORT AT ZERO DAYS AFTER THE LAST
TREATMENT.
SAFETY AND FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS:
IF POISONING OCCURS, CONTACT A DOCTOR OR POISONS
INFORMATION CENTRE (PH: 131126). Keep away from eyes.
Avoid inhalation. Wash hands after use.
DISPOSAL:
Aerosols should be completely emptied before disposal.
Place empty can in household rubbish.
DO NOT PUNCTURE OR INCINERATE.
STORAGE:
Store below 25
