Do not apply directly into or onto water. Take all reasonable steps to

does not cause any significant adverse effects to the environment
beyond the application area.
PRECAUTIONS: Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after use.
FIRST AID: If ingested then contact National Poisons Centre (0800 764
766) or doctor for advice. Have
product label at hand.
STORAGE: Store product in original container in dry cool conditions
and out of direct sunlight. Do not
use this product once expired.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of this product by using in accordance with this
label. Dispose of packaging to a
suitable landfill.
GENERAL INFORMATION
DAWN is a highly effective slug and snail killer. The granular pellet
contains iron which is bound into a
complex. Once slugs and snails have fed on the pellet, the iron is
released from its bound form in the
gut and is uniquely toxic to slugs and snails. As DAWN does not work
through paralysis, slugs and
snails move away after feeding. There may therefore be no dead slugs
or snails visible after use.
DAWN can be used around seedlings or established plants in agriculture
and horticulture.
The small size of the bait pellet granules allows for more granules to
be placed per square metre
compared to coarse baits. This greatly increases the chance for slugs
and snails to encounter the
baits.
DAWN is safe to use, and is safe around animals, pets and birds. It
does not harm earthworms.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
BROADCAST: Apply 15 kg/ha. Use DAWN before, during or after sowing.
Apply DAWN evenly over the ground surface. For band application along
rows, apply as close as
possible to the plants.
Application is best made after rain or irrigation when slugs and
snails become more active.
