KLİNİK ÖZELLİKLER

4.1.Terapötik endikasyonlar

GAVISCON

, reflü özofajit kaynaklı şikayetleri olan hastalarda, gebelikte ya da yemeklerden

sonra oluşan (reflüden kaynaklanan) hazımsızlık, mide yanması ve asit regurjitasyonu gibi

gastroözofageal reflü semptomlarının tedavisinde endikedir.

4.2.Pozoloji ve uygulama şekli

Pozoloji/uygulama sıklığı ve süresi:

Yetişkinler ve 12 yaşından büyük çocuklarda yemeklerden sonra ve gece yatarken 1-2 tablet.

Uygulama şekli:

Tabletler iyice çiğnenmelidir. (Tabletleri kırıp küçük parçalar halinde çiğnemek faydalı olabilir.)

İstenirse üzerine su içilebilir.

Özel popülasyonlara ilişkin ek bilgiler:

Böbrek/Karaciğer yetmezliği:

vakalarda

hiperkalsemi, nefrokalsinoz ve kalsiyum içeren tekrarlayıcı böbrek taşı olan hastalarda tedavi

uygulanırken dikkatli olunmalıdır.

Pediyatrik popülasyon:

12 yaşından büyük çocuklar için doz, yemeklerden sonra ve gece yatarken 1-2 tablet/gündür.

12 yaşın altındaki çocuklarda sadece doktor tarafından tavsiye edilen şekilde kullanılmalıdır.

Geriyatrik popülasyon:

Doz ayarlaması gerekli değildir.

4.3. Kontrendikasyonlar

Bileşimindeki maddelerden herhangi birine karşı aşırı duyarlılığı olan kişilerde kontrendikedir.

4.4. Özel kullanım uyarıları ve önlemleri

Her iki tabletlik doz 246 mg (10,6 mmol) sodyum içerdiğinden, sodyum kısıtlaması uygulanan

hastalarda (örn. bazı konjestif kalp yetmezliği ve böbrek bozukluğu olan vakalarda) dikkatle

kullanılmalıdır.

Her iki tabletlik doz 320 mg (3,2 mmol) kalsiyum içerdiğinden, hiperkalsemi, nefrokalsinoz ve

kalsiyum içeren tekrarlayıcı böbrek taşı olan hastalarda tedavi uygulanırken dikkatli olunmalıdır.

Gastrik asit seviyesi düşük olan hastalarda etkinlikte azalma görülebilir.

Eğer semptomlar 7 gün sonra hala devam ediyorsa, klinik durum tekrar gözden geçirilmelidir.

Doz aşımında semptomatik tedavi yapılmalıdır. Meydana gelmesi muhtemel abdominal gerginlik

ise konservatif olarak tedavi edilir.

GAVISCON

alındıktan sonra mide asidi ile reaksiyona girerek, mide içinde hareket eden, pH’ı

normal mide muhtevasından daha yüksek olan bir jel meydana getirir. Ciddi durumlarda bu jel

özofagusa doğru geri gidebilir ve tahriş olmuş mukozayı koruyarak daha fazla enflamasyonu

önler, iyileşme başlar.
